Our Shipment Service providers may shift without prior notice because of quickly changing circumstances in Canadian parcel delivery services. We appreciate your patience, as small businesses such as we at Needle & Arts adapt our shipping operations to best serve our customers amidst difficult conditions.

You give us your trust and order our products - we ship within the following 4 business days, in highest quality, with our support guaranteed.

Plus, we strive to get the shipment to you in the most economical way at reasonable flat rates!

This is great news! We now ship with either UPS or Canada Post / USPS, whatever offers the best price for you.

As of March 8, 2023 we had to set new, increased flat rates, see below. But more often now we are able to refund you overpaid postage, due to the switch to UPS.

 

Order Processing

We usually ship within a day or two. If shipment is delayed beyond four days (work days) we'll contact you. Delays may happen when dye lots are not matching or larger quantities are ordered which we have to replenish first. 

If you are in a rush or have a deadline to meet, please let us know right away and we do the utmost to get the shipment to you in time.

We have taken out the minimum order of $30. Because we continue to offer you help to find the last one or two balls which you need to finish a project. In this case please contact us at info@needlenart.com so that we can offer you an adjusted shipment rate for small orders.

 

Payment

We are a Canadian company and all prices are shown in Canadian $. You may check exchange rates HERE. We accept all major credit cards or you may choose PayPal. The payment process is totally secure and anonymous through Stripe.

 

Shipping to the US and Canada (as of March 15, 2023)

FREE shipment if you spend $220 or more (US/Canada). (this is not in effect during SALES)

Shipping/Handling Rates

We want to keep shipping rates reasonable for you! Therefore, we offer low flat rates and refund overpaid postage if we can:

  • shipment to the US: $14.99 basic price per shipment plus $0.75 per ordered item

  • shipment within BC: $12.99 basic price per shipment plus $0.75 per ordered item

  • shipment to Western Canadian Provinces: $15.99 basic price per shipment plus $0.85 per ordered item

  • shipment to Eastern Canadian Provinces: $18.99 basic price per shipment plus $0.95 per ordered item

For example, a shipment of any 6 items to the US would cost $14.99 + $4.50 = Can $19.49.

If you order a large number of items and the flat rate exceeds the actual rate - in this case we will definitely refund you the difference!

Shipments within Canada are mailed Expedited, they are trackable and insured up to $100.

Shipments to the US take about 1 week, sometimes longer if they are held up in customs.  If we mail orders to the US with Canada Post’s Small Package Air, they are not trackable or insured. If you want one of these options, please let us know by an extra comment or email and we add this to the cost. Shipments by UPS Ground are always tracked.

Local delivery on Vancouver Island, only from Campbell River to Comox Valley, is an option with a gas contribution of $2. You still have to enter your full shipping address for this. We do home deliveries in this area or deliver to a pick-up spot in Campbell River. Customers in Cumberland or Quadra/Cortes Island: You are charged the BC flat rate. If you want to get your order home delivered or delivered to the pick-up location in Campbell River, please let us know and we refund you the shipping cost.


 

International Orders outside Can/US

Shipping rates are convenient flat rates based on weight. We ship by Canada Post Air Mail. Don't worry, it's mostly yarn! 

  • parcels 0 - 1 lb $23 Can

  • parcels 1.01 - 2 lb $33 Can

  • parcels from 2.01 lb $43 Can

 CUSTOMS for shipments to the US and International

We cannot control customs charges nor customs delays.

 

General

  • Insurance is not included in shipping costs. If you want us to add insurance please contact us

  • Lost orders must be reported within 30 days. Only within this time frame we are able to track them. So far, we never lost one!!!

  • Make sure that your email address is correct so that we are able to contact you regarding your order if necessary

  • Sales tax will be charged for orders within Canada only. They are not applied to orders from the US and to international orders.
